Which Dane County Municipalities Use the Most Energy?

As a follow up to last week’s post, I’ve included a list below of most (if not all) of the municipalities in Dane County ranked by those with the homes that use the most energy. As you can see, Maple Bluff tops the list with an average home age of over 60 years and an average square footage of almost 2,600 square feet. We’ve done several home energy analyses in Maple Bluff and the ones we’ve seen have HUGE potential for energy savings. As a matter of fact, some of these homes are so inefficient that just a few thousand dollars of investment can save as much as $1,000 per year on utility bills! (continue reading…)
